Low Cost or Free Legal Aid – San Luis Obispo, Paso Robles, Arroyo Grande, Grover Beach, Santa Maria, Atascadero and Los Osos

Low Cost or Free Legal Aid consumers, unfortunately there is not much of either out there. It is unfortunate, because many people simply cannot afford to hire an attorney or pay for legal advice. Luckily, there is a service like mine, we are called Legal Document Assistants or LDAs, who can provide information to the public for little or no cost. Most legal matters, especially for the lower to mid level sociodemographic, are pretty simple in nature and an attorney, lawyer or legal advice is not necessary…a simple document preparation solution will suffice…like Small Claims forms. If you are seeking low cost or free legal aid and cannot find it, please call our offices and if we can help by giving you information, then we will. If not, we will refer you to an attorney or other legal referral service (Lawyer Referral Information Service LARIS).

I have been offering low cost and quality legal documents to the Central Coast for many years. It is truly a pleasure to be able to help and offer consumers affordable/low cost legal access to the judicial system. Customers seeking help from the court’s family law facilitator (court sponsored/ran), legal aid, senior center, rural legal assistance (CRLA.org) and senior services centers in general are not often able to get the help they are looking for. In most instances I am able to help, but in many occasions, consumers are not aware of my type of service, so recently I have make a concerted effort to get the word out to the public. There is nothing more frustrating to a consumer of legal services to not be able to get the help/information or answers to simple questions…which is my specialty! If I am not able to help consumers that are seeking help/information from the family law facilitator, legal aid, senior center, rural legal assistance (CRLA.org) and senior services center, then I will try and find a low cost resource to send the customers to.
